Back-to-School Bash
(Fiesta para el regreso de Escuela)
Each year Bea's Kids hosts a Back-to-School Bash for children in the community at each of the four Dallas Tutoring Centers. Volunteers and supporters gather to celebrate the new school year with the children and their families. Children are presented with donations of backbacks, notebooks, pencils, and other school supplies which are provided by individuals and local organizations. The Back-to-School Bash ensures all of Bea's kids are well prepared for the school year with supplies they may not have access to due to familial economic constraints, while also encouraging attendance in school as the children have supplies needed for their daily school participation.
